Who We Are

Founded in 2019, RaFaSA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting LGBT+ refugees and asylum seeker families. We promote the rights of refugee LBTGNC single mothers and their children, and the girl child.

We tackle social integration challenges for LGBT+ refugee parents and their children, striving for representation, inclusion, and an improved quality of life in both camp and urban settings.

What We Do

Our mission is to promote the rights of LGBTQ refugee women, girls, trans and gender non-conforming women, and their children. We seek to empower Rainbow refugee families out of social marginalization, isolation, and discrimination.

RaFaSA envisions a self-sustaining community of Rainbow refugee parents to foster resilience.
